DNS Propagation FAQs
DNS propagation is the process by which updated DNS records spread across the global network of DNS servers. After making a DNS change, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours for the changes to propagate worldwide.
Each DNS resolver caches records independently based on the TTL (Time to Live) value. Until the cached record expires, a resolver will continue serving the old value. This is why you may see mixed results during propagation.
